Internet Browsers

Hi

Two questions:

1. I am running Netscape 7.1 because I got fed up of Internet Explorer 6. I would like to know when loading pictures, Netscape loads the image box first and then image to fill the box, is there a way to remove the image box or to stop it being displayed but still keep the image on the web page?

2. What are the best internet browsers? I have tried Opera 7 but didn?t like that, and have heard that Mozilla Firebird 1.5 is good but I have not tried it yet.

No installation necessary. Very clean.

I have just installed Firebird and it does feel quicker, compared with Internet Explorer

Love Firebird! By the way, if there's a 1.5 version of Firebird, I haven't heard of it. To the best of my knowledge, the newest version is 0.7, a few bugs (it is a beta after all) but the speed, the extensions and the great implementation of tabbed browsing make it all worth it!

Gah, get rid of Netscape. That browser is way too bloated. If you want an alternative, go for Firebird (even though i didn't like it that much, it's MUCH better than Netscape).
