I have a LAN with 2 pcs connected. Both are using XP pro and I want to use one modem, and be able to connect in internet with both pcs.
Is anybody familiar with this procedure?
Thankz in advance
Yes, it's called ICS (Internet connection Sharing)
click on your modem, go to properties, and go to the advanced tab, there should be a few options for it including allowing other computers to initiate the connection.

Thanks for the info. I am familiar with the speed problem, but you see my friend can't afford a second modem...
He said that he has followed the procedure "JustAnAverageGuy" mentions before, but he had some problems.
I'll check it out myself and if I have problems doing it , I'll give feedback. Thanks again
