Iomega 12x4x32 CD-RW summary

I'm having problems with the use of easy creator 4 in the middle of making cds it pauses for a long time... this is after the firmware upgrade ...anysuggections?

Finally got my ZipCD from BB. Did the upgrade to 3.2.7. EasyCD does have a problem with the drive, especially when I try to burn the CD using TDK CDRs (all speed) with 12x speed. With 8x speed it is ok. Others like Nero, CDRwin, CloneCD work perfect.

Yes I have heard Adaptec software doesnt work right after the upgrade. I learned this today. It doesnt effect me since I only use Nero, CloneCD, CDRWin.... all of thoose work flawlessly. Maybe try upgrading the Adaptec software if possible?

That fixes the EZ Cd Creator Problem

BTW if youve benifited from all this info Ive given... the APSI Layer... the Firmware.... the EZ CD Creator patch.... feel free to rate me in my profile Some jerk rated me really low for some unknown reason.

Actually I just tried it myself.... it worked fine without the Update..... so my only guess is you didnt install the latest APSI layer.... its linked in the first post..... but Ill link it again...

dulanic, the patch above was for 4.01 to 4.o2. I can get the burner to burn at 8 like someone mention above .. however at twelve.... freeze... i even tried with the deluxe edition i still get the same results..
