IPAQ 5455 Synchronization

If anyone has any experience connecting the IPAQ Pocket PC to the PC via USB Cable, please let me know what the procedure is to synchronize the Pocket PC with my PC. For some reason, after i install ActiveSync, the software does not recognize the IPAQ which is sitting in the cradle. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

First you install activesync, then when it asks you to plug in the device, you sit it in the cradle. Make sure the disk remains in the drive, as it will search for drivers for the iPAQ on the CD. It is fairly straighforward. If you didn't do plug it in when it asked, you may as well reinstall, because AFAIK, that is a needed step.
