With Halloween approaching, I really want to be Jack Burton from "Big Trouble in Little China." The one problem is there is no way if I purchase his shirt online, it will arrive at my house in time for Friday, when I am going to a party and wearing it. Even if it could, it is anxiety producing doing it so last minute.
Therefore, I have decided that I will find the image that is on the shirt online, print it onto a sheet of iron on paper stuff that you get at crafts stores like Michaels, and iron it on to either a wife beater or white t-shirt.
There is only one problem. Iron on's always look like complete shit when I do them. I mean, there is either a lot of really shiny blank space that makes it a dead give-away that I made it myself, or you can make out the 8x11 rectangle on the shirt.
Ugh.
And also for this project I might have to print half of it on one peice of paper and the other half on another. I am not entirely sure how I will go about doing it.
Does anyone have any success stories with iron ons? Can anyone share good brands of paper with me maybe, or some tips?
Thanks
