You truely can't make excuses for how long it took FEMA, Governments, etc to actually get to NO. I think it put a magnifying glass on a big problem in America today. It just took too long. I feel bad for everyone who had to go through that.

I think if we put our differences aside and started to work together we'd all live in a much more enjoyable world, even if you didn't agree with everything.

How about you try providing facts rather than hurling insults and personal attacks?

Perhaps that is too much for you.

Care to link to & quote me responding to a Bush post with a  or a "yeah!"? Since you can't do so, I'll be glad to hear your admission of being a liar and an apology for it. That will never happen, of course, because someone who still supports Bush obviously has severe issues with admission of fault and/or being wrong.

That's right, you support him. You say you don't, but you make it a point to deride anyone here who disagrees with him, his war or anything else on the far right. Further, you've made it a point to make (wrong) assumptions about me to have insult targets, so I figure one good turn deserves another. How's it feel?

I certainly have a problem with the radical religious right. I have as much of a problem with the radical left. When we have a president in office pushing vegetarianism in schools and invading other countries to inject communist governments, you'll hear me sound off just as loud about it as I do about the opposite, which is what's happening now.

And tough cookies on having someone else here with a King-inspired nick, you don't have a very good poker face about how much it's pissing you off

I'm not a liberal. People from all walks of life and all political outlooks hate Bush, and rightly so.

Another student of the conjor/dmcowen clan; straight out of the Liberal handbook.

Looks like they are so desperate that they now have to recruit... membership numbers must be droppoing again.

What membership do you speak of?

Last I checked the sheeple voted 52% last time so why are you worried about "membership"???

Sure, I'll get you that link just as soon as you can quote me back the text where I ever said you were the one making these responses. I even bolded the one sentence in my post where you could even possibly make that asinine assumption.

Dear lord, man, I've repeatedly tried to give you the benefit of the doubt after witnessing your numerous examples of deficient reading and comprehension abilities, but you are quickly proving that effort to be fruitless. And your continued insistence on affixing your grasping notions with faux indignation and demands for atonement for your own obvious mistakes only further indicates your apparent maturity level.

I also noticed that you strategically avoided my question as to the reason behind your decision to come back to P&N with a new nick.

It was a very clear implication. Regardless, in saying you weren't talking about me specifically, you're admitting stereotyping me as a liberal, which is what this is all about.

Ah yes, the obligatory age insult. Anyone who doesn't agree with the Dub, his war and the christian far right must not only be a lib, but also a kid

I avoided it because it's preposterous. I thought you might realize that and edit it out, so I left you room to do so... but alas, as I surmised, you're unable to admit being anything less than perfect. "You don't agree with me? You're obviously a kid, a liberal and a returning banned member!". You've run the whole gamut. How puerile.

I should really start making assumptions about you and see how you like it You're a pasty rich white kid, 5'2" 275 lbs, you're a republican because daddy said so. Upper middle class, you feel you're part of the repug "ruling class" and thus, while you support the war, you wouldn't risk your own hide in Iraq for a million bucks. How am I for accuracy?

Clearing brush on your land is not being "presidunt," "fightin' terra," or being a leader)?
No doubt that Bush deserved to be railed for the general ineptitude from all stages of government in response to Katrina, but that wasn't the topic you chose for this thread, now was it? You, instead, decided to tie the current, seemingly competent, level of response to Rita with conspiracies that point towards a conscious decision to allow the "poor" to suffer, while administering a higher level of support in regards to the "oil refineries in Texas."

Therefore, if you are going to stick with this argument, your criticism of Bush's vacation and photo-ops is irrelevant and only serves as a distraction to the topic at hand. It's no better than repeatedly bringing up Clinton when talking about something uniquely Bush. While the points may be valid, they serve no bearing to the discussion, but rather serve to distract.

Not even close (I'm of the skinny-nerd breed, not the fat ones), but on the bright side, I now have figured out where to file your posts from now on.

Now now... be fair part of the time he was eating cake and then pretending to play the guitar.

Just to counter the absurd stereotype that all liberals think alike I would say that Bush is a monkey wrench.

I would compare the Dub more to a sledge hammer myself.

See, I'd go with 60-grit sandpaper, myself. The jokes practically write themselves.

So, i take it you didnt hear the recently released tapes? Theres a thread here on it, do a search.
