Well, I have a proxy setup to dump whenever it reaches 500 blocks. That is why you will some gaps in dumping.

Hi Guys!

I went out camping this weekend for the Canada Day holiday. Of course some problem had to occur. Again, it seems like the same problem which has happened a couple times before. The pproxy fails to contact an upstream keyserver and after that it seems to not be able get any blocks until it is reset. The dcypher pproxy also seems to flake out at the same time as the dnet pproxy -- is it possible there is some oscure conflict between the two pproxies?

After a reset, everything seems back to normal. The out buffer for the pproxy was 19MB!!! Let me know if anything seems out of the ordinary.

I breifly scanned most of the messages, and I think that giving out remote access to a select few is a good idea. I also have a cell phone with text messaging which I can give out to a few people. Of course I would not have gotten a message out in the mountains anyway, but while I'm in the city it will work well.

Humm, something's going on with the pproxy. I got 12 blocks about 20min ago, but when I updated again, the pproxy was out of blocks.:| Either it somehow managed to get a connection(and is being drained quickly), or Mika fixed it, only to have it fail again.

Don't worry about it. With all the hungry cattle out there, in combination with the fact that the proxies are limited in they're in-buffer capacity in the first 30 or 60 minutes that they are started will surely cause this.

That is one of the reasons why it would be best for clients to connect to proxies below Mika.

But you can set the expermode=1 to bypass the inbuffer limitations if I remember correctly.

I've been refused access to his proxy for the past 20 minutes. Not sure if he is just tied up or if he's empty again. I've got plent of blocks for the rest of the night, so it's no big deal.
