Is my Athlon XP 1900+ dead?!

First I tried my Athlon XP 1900+ in the Tyan Tiger MP motherboard, along withn the other components (see sig). I couldn't get it to POST. So, I RMA'ed the Tyan board and got a new one, but to no avail. Now I have the Shuttle Ak31A, but I still can't get the damn thing to post. Would the Tyan mobo have killed my CPU. The proc was always under active cooling. I'm attempting to clear the CMOS, and I've tried all of the reseating/removing stuff tests.

Sounds like the processor is dead. that or the memory

I know this might sound silly, but my computer would not post either, and then I reseated the ram and vid card and I pressed down considerably harder, and then I flipped her on, and the rest is history
