Well..not all boys would be willing to confess....no matter how much they love their girlfriends. Consider yourself special...

If both parties don't feel effects of a stressed relationship, then I think it would be safe to assume nothing is fundamentally wrong. It should, then, be fine to discuss your concerns- if you're both comfortable then talking about it is in order, especially since it bothers you.

That being said, I really think ot was out of line (and would be for you to do again without prompting beyond a sinbgle drunken phonecall) to check his call history on his phone- that's pretty invasive, and guys feel differently about that even if there isnt anything to hide.

I think gotta ask yourself if you really want to live the rest of your life with someone who gets trashed and passes out like that. I certainly wouldn't...

I think everbody needs to get off of this and on to the situation at hand. Like you've never been smashed before.

he was drunk to the point of passing out? what are you doing with a drunk? you can do better. A drunk will alway be a drunk. I don't know what is keeping you in this relationship, maybe the sex is great, but can you serious picture yourself being in a MARRIAGE with this guy?
Get out now, cheating is your last concern!

For the record...as I guy I find guys who cheat disgusting. So if I thought he was cheating I wouldn't say otherwise. But he was drunk...so I wouldnt think anything of this. It's a pretty common act...it's called drunk dialing. I see it a lot here at college . I wouldnt worry.

Haven't you ever seen that Kodak commercial where the crazy biotch tears up all the pictures when finding a phone number from "Kelly" in her b/f's jacket, then the answering machine picks up ... *beep* <man's voice> Hi, it's Kelly. Got tickets to the game tonight. See you there. </man's voice>

Yeah. Guess who represents you.

When I think of all the things I have to worry about,I wish the biggest of them was this girl's problem.

I would say more females have cells then males, this isnt based on facts just what I think. Its very possibly that a girl was the only one in the the group he was calling had a cell.

Eww..i'm sorry. I've always respected what you said on here, Geekbabe...but this is just too much. Just because someone has a problem that you don't agree with or you don't think is right..doesn't make it any less of a problem. She posted this thread hoping for advice and even just some kindness. Even if you don't think this is a problem or something that she needs to worry about...you did not have to make it sound so terrible and mean.

Like we all learned in kindergarden....if you don't have something nice to say..don't say anything at all.

I didn't say anthing "mean" at all,I simply voiced the opinion that if I could pick a problem set I'd take the OP's current problem over my list anytime.. not mean, merely truthful

yes!

BTW, I didn't read any part of this thread other than the title. That was enough to base my opinion.

Don't worry about it. If you are still curious then ask him about it and talk to him about it. Just ask him questions, becuase after awhile he will slipup, if he is lying. Don't go overboard accusing him of things, because that could lead to an even bigger gamble on your relationship... trust me. I did that to one of my girlfriends in the past and it ended pretty quickly after that, and it turns out she did nothing.

Well, we've been dating for about 5 months now. Everything has always been good between us. Part of his job description is working 14+ hours a day, so we usually only see eachother weekends and some weeknights. But about 5 of the 7 days/nights of the week I know exactly where he is and what he is doing.

But here's what makes me suspicious. The other night he invited me to go out with him and his friends but I didn't feel like it. So I told him to call me when he got home. He did and I went over to his place. He was, of course, completely drunk. Right as we're about to climb into bed he grabs his cell phone and starts going out the door. When I ask him what the heck he thinks he's doing, he says "I need to make a phone call. We were supposed to meet up with some people and they're probably waiting." Immediately I'm suspicious for two reasons, one he'd been home for like an hour now and just now decides to call? And two, he's never been bashful about talking to any of his friends in front of me.

So I put my foot down and tell him that its 3:30am and no one is waiting and make him to go to bed. But he already started dialing. But before he says anything, he hangs up and passes out. By this point I'm fairly annoyed and get up and leave. But not before I look at his cell phone (I know, I know) and the person he dials has a female name. Very interesting.

My question, whats the chances that this isn't exactly what it seems and maybe it was an innocent phone call. And what should I do?

If I found out my girlfriend did that to me (checked my phone), she'd be gone. I hate when people are insecure.

All I've got to say is that unless he owns the place he works 14 hours a day, 5 days a week at, he's got a very crappy job.

Now if was was 14 hours a day, 3 days a week, then he might be on to something.

Where the heck do you live Provo? For my college life, I typically drank 6 nights a week (Occassionally passing out in those nights out), all the while getting Dean's List and above grades. Also during that time I partook in two long term relationships one of which was 3 years and the second one whom I am still with 8 years latter and married. I now drink about twice a month on a good month hardly ever have beer/alcohol in my fridge.

And what should I tell my wife should be her other concerns besides cheating, since that is her last concern?
