Is my video card borked?

I recently obtained a BFG 6800gt, and the first thing I loaded up was half-life 2.

I'm using the 67.02 detonators, everything is at 1600-1200 4x fsaa 8xaa via DVI to a dell 2001fp.

I noticed some weird anomolies, like this:

So I tested it with ATItool's artifact tester, which gave me no errors whatsoever. I then tried some 3dmark05, and got some weird shadowing:

Take notice of the leaves in the bottom left:

Then look at the weird jagged shadows on the cliffs and the flying balloon:

The card is clocked the the default 370/1000. I've disabled fast writes.

Thanks for any kind of help.

For HL2 did you install the new patch and click on the verifying link in steam news? That fixed the missing sky texture for me on my 9800 pro.

Got a little bug ocne with HL2 with pink floor with the CS:stresstest, but it went off when i just log in and off.

Also using 67.20 driver atm.No issue.

And i think you are REALLY freaking out for nothing with your 3DMARK 2005 issue lol.Cause i think those are not issue at all

Wow how did you notice the things on the 3Dmark05 tests? I can barely see em after even after you've pointed them out. I can see the texture problem on the leaves after looking for them. I can't find the weird shadows on the cliff but I can see the jagged shadows on the balloon.

Anyway you should probably try downloading the latest drivers like everyone's been saying.

Im using the 67.02 drivers, which are supposed to be the latest. the 67.20's are a quadro build and are actually dated earlier than the 67.02s. I've noticed more of these glitches, weird white parts of the screen just flash. And I'm pretty sure the shadows in 3dmark arent supposed to look like that, neither are the leaves. I'll try the 66.93's again.

Bump.

Is anyone else getting this weird coloring of the shadows with a similar setup?

-Steve

Edit: I do not have the same shadow issues when running the benchmark in cpu stress test mode.
