Is there any joystick mouse?

I am wondering if there is a mini joystick similar to the Sony/Xbox/Nintendo gamepad and can be used as a regular mouse.

There is a piece of software, called "JoyMouse", that will let an analog joystick control the mouse. I've used it with a Sony PSX dual-shock analog pad connected via a USB adaptor, on a system that didn't have a mouse at the time, in Win98se. Funky, but it works.

I can't believe that no-one have thought of developping a joystick mouse. I think it could be more efficient since users don't have to use much of their arm, palm, wrist thus eliminating carpal syndrom disorder.

My original Trackman Marble FX is very easy on my hand - very minimal motions get the job done. Don't know what I'll do when it goes TU...

I've got both Trackman Wheel corded and cordless version. My thumb is getting tired quickly to move the cursor across one 17" laptop and 2x 21" monitor desktop (with hi sensitive setting I loose the accuracy). So I am looking for a pressure sensitive device similar to a joystick, I think this may help to resolve my tired thumb. I also try MS Wireless optical explorer mouse, Wireless optical Trackman and so far I haven't found a perfect pointing device yet. I develop a Carpal Syndrom Disorder lately and would like think may be the joystick could be an alternate solution to a mouse, if so my problem is solved.
