The Conservative movement and the Republican party can't come up with a better replacement for Obamacare "disaster" after 7 years. The one they put up will cost tens of millions their health coverage. Maybe Trump should be working on that instead of trying to polish his turds.

He's making sure his message is front and center with the electorate. It's a method to pressure Congress to answer to their constituents. We're transitioning from a government that answers to their donors to one that respects that the power lies with the people.

Sure it is; yep, that's exactly what is happening.

Not sure if you are being dishonest or just missed the part in the CBO where it is admitted that the large part of the people uninsured would be due to those that dropped it. They would be allowed to drop it because of the lack of the individual mandate. The bill is still shit because of the rates that would go up in the long term, especially on the elderly.

Those fucktards had 7 years to get a bill written. They had one in 2015 but put this one out there. These morons don't get it...people aren't going to fall for their shit any more. I especially love that there are three phases -- ya, like phase 2 and 3 would ever get approved in the Senate. Put everything in one bill. They should just leave ACA alone and let it fail like they keep saying it will.

Why would he be touting this bill that is for all intents and purposes DOA? You promote something that is an improvement, something that is functional. Putting pressure on to pass deeply flawed legislation is what got us 0bamacare in the first place.

Funny how the ACA extended coverage to 20M Americans & improved coverage for people with employer sponsored plans. That's despite Repub efforts to stymie it at every turn.

Now that they have the opportunity to do better Repubs merely intend to replace Obamacare with We-don't-care to facilitate tax cuts for America's wealthiest people & to erode public confidence in the govt of the people.

They would drop it because it would be unaffordable to them with their subsidies being sent as tax cuts for the rich instead.

Tough to enact a solution when your heart is not in it. They were never into fixing the healthcare system it was just a hammer against Obama

Usually Presidents wait at least 6 months or until they have accomplished something. This guy has had 6 before his first 100 days. He needs constant ego stroking.

He's not stable.

pretty much. It's certainly not unusual for presidents to go out and hold rallies in support of big policy pushes, but it is usually several months out, and after they have actually accomplished something.

Trump hasn't accomplished shit, other than getting a Marshawn Lynch stiff-arm from US Law. The current healthcare proposal that he refuses to put his name on is wildly unpopular and would represent a complete disaster for 98% of the country. He needs to stroke ego, because that's all he is.

The guy is a fucking incompetent idiot, as are his surrogates.

I'm pretty sure that many 20th and 21st Century technological innovations nullify this as an argument advocating rallies. Come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if rallies are one of the least efficient methods of broadcasting his message.

Last time somebody was holding rallies from their established office, it ended in a courtroom drama about Ernst Janning and Spencer Tracy's character. Something about "Judgment."

But they always held the biggest rallies at the same place.

It's just fanning the flames of division. Ordinarily, from my earliest remembrance of Truman and the weekly-fixit RCA TV, we'd all go along to get along.

It was about respect. No rational and well-informed person today should want to go along for this ride.

It's a scary thing to some people which is curious because nearly everybody wants to get big money out of government but many still want it flowing to their team.

Riiiight....

How many billionaires in the Trump cabinet? Truly an administration of, and for, "the people".
