How much did you guys pay for your car OTD? Im seriously looking at these, and am trying to get a good idea on what I should expect to pay. I did an online quote for an 03 5-speed manual, with leather ecsaine package, and the dealer told me $30277. I have no idea if thats a good price. And today I went to see a pre-owned graphite pearl gray 01 IS300. Had 39K miles, ecsaine interior, and the dealer offered me $26000 out the door. But, since they were an infiniti dealer it wasnt certified. Just curious what other paid for it.

PM me if you dont want to post the price

EDIT:
Clarification: The $30277 he quoted me was with tax and license, hence the OTD (out the door). I know all about KBB and edmunds. What my question was and still is, is how much actual owners paid for their is300. Not what some website says retail is, but what actual amount of currency that was tendered during the transaction.

(apologize if sounds it sounds grumpy, just best way to rephrase)

You can get a Well equipped 03 5speed IS300 for like 27,000 + ttl

You can get a nicely equipped 5 speed ofr 27.9k + TTL.

30k is too much

Call other dealerships.
If you can drive down to Longo Lexus in I believe Texas I think they can give you a great price.
Talk to the Fleet manager tho.

Why is that? Unless the meaning is different in the U.S.... its a basic requirement that a car has to meet during a transfer of ownership.
New or used, it still has to be done before the new owner can put it on the road.

$30K for a brand new car and $26K for one with 39,000 miles ??
Thats a RIP-OFF.

I've seen many IS300 with 40,000-50,000 miles for around $20K.
I've been looking at the IS300 too.

Like this ONE for $20,500 with only 32,000 miles and it has a CLEAR title.

certified used is a marketing scheme by auto makers and dealers that claims the car goes through some special certification process by a special manufacturer trained mechanic, then backed up by an extended warranty of the sort anyone will sell you and is probably cheaper than the (usually large) premium you'd pay getting one elsewhere.

What he means is usually the dealership gets a car slap the certified sticker on it, saying it good till 100,000 miles and charges extra for it.
Its BS because pretty much any car with regular maintenance will last to 100,000 miles.
So when you're talking about Honda, Lexus, BMW.....of course its going to last till 100,000 or so.

in your first post, you say 27.9 + TTL , that is pretty much 30K out the door, unless you meant that the 27.9 was the out the door price, which it didn't appear you did.

wrt your post, you think your answer is the only answer? He's looking for people that have bought one. You didn't says you bought one in either post. Most people here look for more than one person's opinion.

I bought one
at a higher price.
WTF are you getting at ? I'm telling him this cuz I researched it. The prices vary by region but where he's at, he should be able to get that price easy.
27,9 is the car price alone. DID I SAY OTD ? NO I DIDN'T

you said 30k was too high of a price, but 27.9 + ttl is going to be pretty damn close to 30k, so I don't see the point you were trying to make saying that 30k was too high. He is talking out the door prices, as in including Tax, Title and License.

30277 is a fair price for the IS300.

I'm thinking that it has these options

Leather/Ecsaine
Heated Seats ( althought you're in cali )
Spoiler
Stock 17"s ( might want to ask for graphite )
*****tell them to throw in free cargo net ( keeps items in trunk nicely without moving around )*****
You might want to ask for black pearl badging.

You should every everything except
Full leather, VSC, and Nav.

Everything else should be included in that price.
