I just built a P4 2.4c Is7 combo and get horrible performance. In my device manager it only shows the intel 8280 ultra ata storage controller. I ran pcmark and got less then 1000 marks I installed all the drivers on the shipping cd and when trying to install the sata drivers it says no device found. I did not install any drivers using the f6 option on the OS install, because I do not have a floppy drive in this system. I know I have to be doing something wrong here. Anxiously awaiting your insight.... thanks in advance .
