im only guessing bc its apple and they have to be "different"
the inverted scroll too.
i bought a macbook before i took this position and aside from battery life..its annoying.
i am a boomer tho.

i haven't worked for a company that supported mac os as daily machines in 23 years

back at that company i did half programming/half tech support and i definitely preferred doing support on OS 9/OS X instead of windows

it seemed like less went wrong

one of the hard parts was in buying new software... it had to support both mac and windows (because a few industrial machines ran windows-only software)

this is probably less of a problem now, but back then finding end-user software that supported multiple OS was hard. it left us stuck with several applications that were terrible, but they were the only option.

i guess if you're used to writing cmd/powershell scripts for anything, you'll have to switch to shell scripts/grep/sed/awk.

Im debating buying parallels bc im on an m chip. heard mixed things. going from an m365 tenant to google workspace has been a challenge for my precambrian brain.

In a terminal, CTRL+C sends SIGTERM, so having the CMD keys combos is nice. I don't daily drive macOS anymore.
