It's weird you have to pay 300 dollars for acceptable blue tooth ear buds

Well when you're older and have hearing loss from many years of high pressure air in the USN and then in a manufacturing environment you can get a quality set of earbuds for about 20 bucks.... I usually just connect with my hearing aids they work better than any ear bud I've tried.

I've got the JBL vibe beam. Noise cancelling was way better than I expected. At the gym yesterday, my tinnitus did a great job cancelling out my music.

I've had JBL and Anker BT buds that both sounded decent and neither set was over $50 shipped from Amazon.

The Anker's however had poor noise cancelling (especially wind!) but the JBL's are still doing pretty good.

They come with different size ear tips. Also, earbud maggie is an oxymoron.

I got them about two months ago. They sound good, but are quite big for an IEM. I had a friend who wanted to try them, and he didn't like them because he has small ears. I'm curious what you think though.

TBH, I don't like them. Would rather use my Koss sportapros.

Guess I'm sending it back

Not even that sad about it. Too bad though. Had high hopes

They aren't very comfortable and I like the sound of my koss better. The Koss is more bassy. The cord it came with is bad in my opinion

I want the portapro wireless version but amazon is always sold out. I had a pair before but they stopped functioning(my fault because I was rough with them) If I get another one, I am gonna take care of them

As far as true wirelss buds. May try technics in the future. Not too sure about the other options

i have very refined ears and notice bad audio when I hear it

Been taking care of my sportapros with yaxi pads. Love them. At 30 dollars, by far the most bang for your buck, these headphones

Did you try their other tips? You need to have a good seal with IEMs to get good bass out of them. Before you return them, turn your tv on at a normal volume, and then put the IEM on . If you can hear the tv, the Iem needs to be further in your ears. If it's a comfort issue, send them back.

Idc, I bought the Sony WF-1000XM5 and they're amazing. I work in a chatty office, and I can pop those bad boys in, turn on the ANC, and they're just gone. Plus the sound is as good as you can get in earbuds.

I still use wired cans and an external dac/amplifier. I like my music loud and thumping. BT will never get there.

Very true. I have that too. But not interested in bringing that setup on the subway with me. Or when walking my dog for that matter 😀

For wired use, I love my Beyerdynamics DT880 Pro cans. Rich, deep sound without being “thumping,” yet they don’t drown out the highs. (My aging ears can’t hear much in the higher frequencies anyway) Between a bit of gunfire, some artillery, explosions, 30 years of operating heavy equipment, often in noisy environments…it’s a freakin surprise I can hear anything.

For Bluetooth listening, I generally use a couple of pairs of over-ear headphones.

Sony WH-CH710N…good sound, excellent noise cancelling, outstanding battery life…crappy build quality.

Monoprice Sonic Solace II. Decent sound, good ANC, acceptable battery life…good build quality. I wear them mostly when mowing the lawn.
