Itunes and Ipod's

Does anyone here know what whould happen if i plugged my ipod in to a second comouter that i just installed itunes on? would it transfer my library up to the new pc or just allow me to down load new songs to the ipod? Or coudl i do any harm by this?

That will wipe out your iPod.

I always screw this up. No matter what, my iPod always loses everything when I reformat and reinstall iTunes.
