...because intimacy is huge. I totally agree with TruePaige as there are people you can be 100% compatible with, but when you hit the bedroom it's like a bad Picasso painting. You need to be both physically and mentally compatible.

Gay people can have sex too; sexual orientation doesn't dictate the # of sexual encounters someone might have. Personality and appearance take care of that.

That's the problem with lot of people, they marry based on how good they're in bed, not on their feelings. Hollywood portrays sex as being "the cool thing to do" but in reality it was never meant to be that way. It's a reproduction tool, and you only want to reproduce with the person you want to spend your life with. If you really love a girl, have things in common etc... but she sucks in bed, will you actually reject her just based on that fact? That seems kinda sad imo.

Lot of families get screwed up because of careless random sex.

Seriously, listen, sex is FUN. It's probably one of the funnest things we can do with our bodies.

Also, intimacy involves sex but is much more. If you know someone, if you can take direction, ask for what you want, brave new sexual frontiers...the sex can be really great.

If you have no physical/emotional chemistry to go with your "friend qualities" then you are just friends.

Most people marry because they got that person into bed, not because it was good / bad. Most are too co-dependent and simply want someone to side with their selfish opinions.

Today people are basing a relationship on a few random IM's and emails. Building up a fairy tale through months of back and forth correspondence. It's sad.

I am all for online dating, but when you 'meet' someone online, do the groundwork in 2-3 exchanges at the most and set up a place to meet in real life.

Everyone is too fucking scared of everything. This H1N1 hysteria is a great example.
