Perhaps that problem can be fixed with a BIOS update. Let's just hope the problem isn't still around when AMD's "official" 266-MHz FSB chips hit the market.
In other words, I believe they were testing with 200FSB chips. This is the same problem that has been discussed quite extensively on this forum with 1.x GHz Tbirds. At this point, I think the solution is to:
1) initially keep all BIOS options at default, lower the multiplier down to 6 or 6.5, and then reboot. From there, it is my understanding that the board can handle these Tbirds.
2) if this doesn't work, modification of the L6 bridges appears to fix the problem.
Someone PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong...
