Just had some of this, which I rather like as a changeup from real jerky. Anyways, in a "meat snack focus group", one of the other participants and I debated whether this was a "real" beef product as opposed to processed (i.e. chopped & formed). I think that it is just a thicker cut of beef cut across the grain and not as dry.
What do you think?
In support of my case, I present the fact that it has a real fibrous texture to it, a grain to the meat. It's reminiscent of a thin cut of roast beef.
