His only hope was to have the most delegates in a brokered convention, which isn't happening. So they're going with tearing down Joe in a desperate & misguided attempt to pull it out of the fire. If the upcoming Biden v Sanders debate got cancelled, it would be a horrible mistake. Basically for 2 reasons:
1 It should clearly show who is the best candidate.
2 There is already the concern that the Biden Campaign and the Democratic elite supporting him are trying to keep him outside the public eye as much as possible. Cancelling this debate will only reinforce that suspicion.
Feels like Bernie is only staying in the race to get to the debat and ask Biden to commit on a few things.
I predict Bernie dropping out a day or so after the debate provided Biden gets on record supporting some of Bernie’s stuff.
