You can keep saying the sky is brown, but I'll keep seeing blue. You can link a study proving conclusively that Joe has the mental acuity of a thirty year old, and he still won't be able to utter two coherent sentences in a row.
There is no "convincing" involved. The man is suffering the mental decay of old age, a fate that awaits most of us.

Do you think Pence will be president within two years if Trump wins? If not, you might want to reconsider how biased your thought process is. If you do though, I think you're similarly delusional when it comes to Trump. I get that you hear from right wing media a lot that Biden is somehow mentally infirm. This is because they have decided on this line of attack because they don't have anything else. You're getting duped yet again.

The good news for you though is if you genuinely think you're the one who sees things clearly I am very confident that you will be able to make a large sum of money betting on this outcome. Like, a LOT of money. Something tells me you will not avail yourself of this amazing opportunity.

Man that is some funny stuff right there, considering this guy currently holds the office:

I mean Trump is currently and repeatedly saying things like the 1918 flu took place in 1917 and the other day he said it ended World War 2, which didn't end until a quarter century later.

Imagine if Joe Biden kept saying things like that over and over - conservatives would consider that obvious evidence of dementia. Oddly enough they don't think so for Trump. Why? Motivated reasoning.

Trump is a different discussion, though he's displaying some of the same issues as Joe.
I don't know why you think Joe's failing mind will change the election results, that's clearly not the case. All that matters is that he isn't Trump. The man rarely shows his face, but is thrashing Trump in the poles. He'll select a black woman as a running mate to cement his position as leader of the oppressed, and he's in.
I think Joe has it in the bag, and I'm convinced he won't make it through his first term. You can play that any way that makes you comfortable, but the bottom line is that your team will win.

I look at it this way, anything that gets Trump out of office the country wins

I don't think it will change the election results, I think you're just being duped by right wing media. When you are sitting there four years from now marveling at how Biden made it through just remember that he was always likely to make it through just fine.

Of course nothing in this world is for certain but the idea that Biden will step down or be removed within two years because of issues with cognitive decline is delusional. If you genuinely think this is a sure thing or strong likelihood I'm not kidding - you stand to make a lot of money and I hope you avail yourself of it.

Another plus to potentially doing that is it's a real test of if you're ACTUALLY sure or if you're buying into the marketing of your political sports team. I think you may be surprised at what you actually believe.

Put up or shut up time.
How about a $100 amazon gift card bet being assuming Biden wins:
I will send you a $100 amazon gift card if Biden does not stay in office until 1/20/2023
If Biden is in office on 1/21/2023 you send me a $100 amazon gift card.

Possible pitfalls that need to be addressed
If Biden announces a future retirement/leaving office that falls anytime within his first term 1/20/2021 to Election Day 2024 before 1/20/2023 I owe you $100 amazon card
If Biden has a surgery that requires the VP being signed in before 1/20/2023 you owe me a $100 amazon gift card the moment Biden returns to office if he returns after 1/20/2023

Above is a tentative frame work before we agree let’s check the dates.
To agree we both need so say “I agree to this bet” in a different post, ideally quoting each other.

I don't completely agree with that, but it's a fair enough point that I wouldn't argue against it.

I look at it this way: the likelihood that any Democrat would be a worse choice than Trump is effectively zero. Even if Biden makes gaffes, even if he doesn't survive a full term, he'd still be better.

It comes down to the ways in which Trump fails. It's not just that he's bad at the job, it's that there's a lack of certain baseline qualities. Concern for anyone besides himself. A general respect for radical concepts like "democracy" and "truth." Choosing cabinet members based on qualifications instead of loyalty.

Virtually any candidate the Democrats could field would meet at least those basic goals. The Republicans are in trouble in 2020 because they lowered the bar so much with Trump that nearly any Democrat could clear it.

If I had to pick it would definitely be Rice.

Of all the ones mentioned she hands-down just has a much more mature demeanor and isn't an over-dramatic moron like Kamala.

Hope he chooses wisely....

Also to Greenman's point on Biden not making it till the end... I'm not 100% sure of that and don't really care... All I know is that the next few years are going to be friggen hilarious anytime there is a camera on Biden. The dude had so many gaffs that his campaign CLEARLY said "Okay, let's try and reduce his camera time as much as possible"...

Since cameras will always be on him at presidency, it's just going to be a continuous livestream of gaff after gaff. I've got my popcorn ready.

I think it may be Kamala or Rice, it's definitely going to be a Black woman. The only downside to Rice is she is so radioactive to the right.. but the Right will find any reason to make someone radioactive.

I get it, I’ve had fun with the daily to weekly stuff like this for the last few years

it really is an endless list and that list will only become larger as time passes.

Didn't Joe already say it would be a black woman? I'm sure he could find an old one.

Woman, yes. I don't recall him specifically pledging to pick a black woman. I know that his announcement came shortly before the protests erupted around the country, and so the wonks and media started focusing more on black women specifically as the "smarter choice," but I don't think the Biden campaign ever embraced that and "updated" the pledge.

President Coma would be a better president than Trump.

hell, this country pretty much turned to shit when Nancy's astrologer was effectively running things for at least 4 years, and we were still "better off" than the dumpster fire that is Trump's GOP.

Really? I don't really get that sense from Rice...

Judging by her investments she seems to lean on the pro-business side and not the "CORPORATIONS ARE EVIL!" moronic side.

She also seems more pro war/military - which I don't necessarily find appealing.

I mean... I lean right and thus far I found her to sound the most appealing, so not sure what you're seeing as "radioactive to the right"

For someone who knows everything, it's funny you don't know that the Republicans desperately want Rice to run, they been building up a portfolio on her like they did with Hillary. You are so informed.

lol I don't pay attention to fox news, silly.

Can you link me where the Republican has had their memos of wanting her to run because they will destroy her leaks? I wasn't aware this was such public knowledge, and that she is being talked about/critiqued than any of the other candidates....

I think you just craft your own ill-informed narratives in your head and then tell yourself it's an public evil plot conspiracy of the right. Can I offer you a tin-foil hat?

Look at the "I don't pay any attention to news" ploy. Man, you need a new line. Playing dumb selectively doesn't work.
