I give up. I stayed away for a while hoping the bugs would go by-by.
I came back and it seams worse than it was when I left.
I will never understand the overwhelming drive to upgrade to the latest and greatest.
I have a number of clients that are the same way. As soon as a new version comes out for any of there software they have to have it. They are the clients that I visit the most fixing things, and also the ones that complain the most about my billable hours. Not the cost of the software or hardware, just my time.
I have sent some of them to my competitors to cut my losses and save some hair. I think I am going to do the same to Anandtech. I come to Anandtech for info, stress relief and fun. I can no longer count on getting any info, my stress level every time I get a "Jrun" error goes up not down, and the fun factor goes right out the window after the 8th Jrun error trying to view a thread. I am now in search of a new board to call home.
And for those that will say stop complaining about a free service. This board is click sponsored.
I have clicked through and spent over $13,000 at ZipZoomFly and over $9,000 at NewEgg in the last 12 months.
So the incentive of the creators of this board are relying on the users clicking on the ads to fund the site.
If enough people (that really do click and buy) go by-by they will get the hint.
So now you guys can flame away all you want I will not be around to hear it.
