I just reinstalled Windows XP and have noticed it to be a little "jumpy" when running certain things such as program installations. The audio seems to stutter and skip not just in itunes, but even when something is connected to it such as a USB flash drive. The mouse cursor will also get kind of jumpy and slow as well. I have an AMD 64 3000+, 1GB RAM, 9600XT video card, envy 24 sound card, 120GB HDD + 160GB external HDD. So i don't think it's for lack "powerful" parts. Anyone got any ideas on what might be causing this? Could the inside just need a cleaning/resetting of peripherals?
