So my bf and I are in different cities and we are both pretty busy. Anyways, he is still back in my college town while I am now in med school; so for those of you familiar with med school life, you know that we don't have much of a life. Anyways, I went out today and came back early so I could talk to him and webcam or whatever. So I call him and find out that he is hanging with some of our mutual friends (my friends first). We barely said couple of sentences to each other and than he says something to someone over there. I asked what happend. And he says, "I just told them I was going into standby mode since you are blabbering off." It really pissed me off so I didn't say much after that and hung up soon after. I mean if I was blabbering it would be one thing, but I really wasn't. And I don't understand what he got out of making fun of me at that point. I know I am overreacting..this thing probably wouldn't have bugged me so much If I hadn't come home early JUST to talk to him and becaue I was missing him soo much all night. I hate going out with couples; it keeps reminding me of him. Than the first thing he does is something stupid like that. Grrr...

If you hadn't figured it out, this is a really pointless msg which I am writing just to vent at three in the morning. Okay thats it.

I do not wish to be harsh....

But you are blabbering a little now...

If this is how you were talking to him... He might have a point.

that may be so, and that is simply because I am pissed off. If I was blabbering I would admit it; but at that point I had barely said a couple of sentences to him.

I admit I blabber and he has had no problems with it for the last two and a half years.

Anyways, it is not a big deal, I just felt like venting and so I did. Thank you.

guys tend to be stupid trying to talk to people long distance...

i know this as i mananged to piss off my gf a couple times when she was at home for the summer (while I stayed at school) when we'd talk over AIM

this generally meant groveling was required on the weekends, but i survive

Guys like simple conversation.

How are you?
"Good"

Is better than:

How are you?
"Well, today at work Tammy was acting like she didn't want to talk with anyone, I mean she talked to everyone, but she didn't seem like she was really happy with everyone, I don't know what her problem is, I know she's been having problems with her..."

The "..." is where most guys quit listening.

Next time he says something like that, just say "OH YEAH?! WELL YOU HAVE SMALL PENIS!" That will shut him up.

In all seriousness, though, what he said was stupid and insensitive, but guys often say things like that over the phone when in the company of other guys. I doubt he meant anything by it, so just try to forget it.

Edit: And while the hell has this thread been getting bumped for the past two days?
