I'd say you came out on top versus building it yourself money wise. I'd still rather build it myself though.

Agreed, if I had the time, money, patience and skill I would have done it myself (Amdx2 system) but since I don't I'll have to settle for Dell.

agh, there's going to be a "didnt want to build, bought a dell instead" parody flooding this forum in a matter of days.

anyways, the price seems like it's on par with the system. though i still would have taken the time to build one myself, even if it takes weeks. i've been ready to leave intel for about a year now, but this stupid thing wont die one me.

What kind of warranty or tech support did it come with? 90days, 1 year, 1.5, 2years?

Tom

Aint no way in hell anyone could build something remotely similar for that price. Congrats!

I myself picked up a 9100 for dirt cheap, added some more ram and a GTX. My total was less than a grand.

So basically, after 12months from today. You have to come out of your pocket to support it yourself?

That wasn't my point. If the motherboard or PSU was to burn out, where will he go for support after 12 months? I don't remember scouring the online shops like ZZF or newegg and ordering a replacement Dell motherboard or Dell PSU at a reasonable price. Or any price at all.

You can buy them from Dell, I have even seen them on Ebay or if it came down to it I would buy a major brand motherboard.

good luck fitting that aftermarket board in their shell...let alone you gotta pray that the powersupply pins are correct.

Great deal...plus who keeps a computer for more than a year or two anyway!

I may be wrong but i was under the impression that a

rig is a comp that is owner built,

a PC is a comp that is bought pre-built.

Nice PC and good price point
