just finished watching THE KINGDOM

so i just finished watching The Kingdom with Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner and some other really really good actors.

i thought it was really really good. there was plenty of action and it was kinda non-stop the entire time.

anyone else ever see it or have any thoughts on it? do share

It was kind of interesting with the ending about what the guy whispered into his grandson's ear and what Foxx's character said. Both sides have the same objectives.

The FBI arn't stupid, they would know that takin a woman to a backwards muslim country like Saudi Arabia would be a real bad idea.

i liked all the characters tbh...

brad, maybe so but its just a movie.... and its rare to have an all male cast- for almost any movie.

im usually impressed with movies like this. i enjoy wartime movies etc.

Yeah, you're right, it's just a movie. But it's just such a huge plot hole in the film, kinda ruined it for me.

As the others have said, having the women along was probably the most unrealistic part of this movie. However, I enjoyed it overall. Good action scenes. Then, at the end just when I thought it was going to be another hum-drum American anti-terrorist movie, they through in the last few lines of dialogue that brought it back to some solid ground.

Predictable. Popcorny. The moral relativism tacked on at the end comes off as preachy and dumb. Boo minus minus.
