Just ordered some parts

I just ordered my Antec P180 with the new 500watt NeoHE ModPSU, both incredible. Now I have to figure out what else I want to put in this bad boy.
I'm on a budget of 1000 and don't need Ram, peripherals, or rom-drives.

I'm thinking on most likely having this setup:

-Asus A8N-E (I don't know which model yet, I just need SATAII, PCI-e, and an okay sfx card until I have time to care about sound.)
-AMD 64 3800+ X2 (These are running cheaper than the single core 4000+. Is there a difference?)
-I have no idea which video card to get. 7800GTX or the X1800XT. I definately don't have the money for the 512 GTX version.
-Seagate SATAII 120GB 7200.9 (I might get higher but I want to use it as a primary drive and I heard stuff about not being able to use over 120GB HD without having to unlock some stuff or else your files get corrupt, or I may be wrong.)

There is little to no diff between SATAI and II. Get the eVGA 7800GT thats onsale at newegg but what will comp but mostly used for?

Gaming, Progz, Lots of progz (photoshop, IRC, vent, xfire, aim, yahoo, ZAPro, Idling progs, Constant DLing, Server purposes, Multimedia progs, gaming and progs sometimes at the same time when I'm idling in game for short periods of time. All around computer that can do everything I don't know how I do it with this crappy 1.2 Athlon with 768 ram. I've been dying to upgrade. This junkie thing is useless.

I would be careful about the Asus a8n boards and the PSU. Although they claimed to have fiexed the compatibility problems with newer revisions (of both the board and NeoHE), there may still be an issue present. Do a little bit of searching on google about it and you can decide for yourself. Linky @ HardForum

So if I buy a brand new A8N wouldn't it be rev1.02 since it was from a newer batch?
