i use to deliver food and sometimes when i dont expect a tip, i just give them their change in non-ones.

maybe thats what he thought? and he got an ill luck cause you did tip him? just a thought.

Delivery persons don't get compensated for car mileage or gas - they have to take that hit. Not tipping well is just an asshole thing to do, especially with today's gas prices.

Not sure if it's federal or state law, but here in Oregon, you're required to inform your auto insurance agency if you use your personal vehicle for business use (your rate goes up -sometimes WAY up). However, your comment regarding compensation for mileage and gas is completely FUBAR. You're generalizing about an agreement that may or may not take place between employer and employee based on evidence provided to you by means other than being one of the two said individuals for more than 51% of the businesses in the nation providing such services. Kindly shove it up YOUR out-hole unless you're going to wise up.
