The number is actually 8 executions since July. 5 more were recently added to the list to be executed by 1/20/2021. Only 11 people have been executed since 1963. 8 of them under trump, the “law and order president,” with the 5 more scheduled.

One of the unfortunate side effects of the never-ending Trump twit storm and his near continuous string of outrageous statements is that too often the actual bad things he does are too frequently overlooked as not being sexy enough news. This is a prime example. I was not aware that there was even a single federal execution this year, much less setting a record.

It's like Trump is trying to supplant Red China as the most murderous regime.

I admit that I agree with what The Donald does far less often than a stuck clock is correct, but I attribute that to (a) a total disagreement with nearly all of his philosophies and principles (near as I can guess what they are), (b) a total disagreement with his rank corruption and active divisive behavior and (c) his narcissistic behavior I find totally revolting. If you think this he is a great leader or somehow has improved the USA, well that's your fantasy world.

And as far as your broad brush labeling me personally a "useful idiot" who can't get enough of Red China, you are oblivious to my posts on that regime. As far as COVID goes, I attribute maybe 95% of our problem to Donald's consistently wrongheaded handling of the problem and 5% to Red China's initial coverup.
