K8V SE Bios update failure!!!!

Hey all, This is the first time I have ever had this happen to me. The bios flash said failed then the computer locked up on me. No when I power on I get hard drive activitiy for about 30 seconds then nothing. No picture or anything. Is my bios hosed? This was the 1004 update use ALT F2 at boot
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys in advance.

Put your Asus CD in the drive, it should recover your older BIOS. See chapter 4-5 in the manual.

I've been doing that but I get no video so I can't tell if its doing something. I'll try again and report back. Thanks.

Man thanks a ton. Thats probably cheaper than having to ship it back. I had a bought a msi k8t NEO but I can just sell it on EBay. Thanks a million!!!

i had this same prob, 4 hours later it was alive again. Last time i update the bios, my comp mobo wouldnt do anything for hours, i thought i was going to have send it back in.

I tried the next day mulitple times and no go... Pretty frustrating... Well the Bios chip should be on its way today so I'll find out in a few days.
