Hello all!
I'm just curious what kind of BIOS setting people are using with their KG7-RAIDs (a bunch of us picked them up from Comp Geeks). In particular I've found that I'm able to overclock the front side bus without any problems (actually runs better), but changing memory timings kills the system. "Normal" and "Auto" seem to work though.
Here is my system:
Dual Boot Win 2k (40 Gig) /Mandrake 8.1 (40 Gig)
Lian Li PC 60 USB b
Enermax Whisper 431 Watts
Athlon XP 1600+ (running FSB at 136 at the moment)
Zalman HSF
512 PC 2100, 2.5 CAS Crucial Memory (running at CAS 2 perfectly)
80 Gig Western Digital Special Edition
MSI Geforce 4 MX 64 meg VIVO
Audigy Ex Plat
3Com 10/100
Cendyne 32x CDRW
Actima 6x DVD (gotta replace this piece of !@#$)
Mitsubisi Floppy
What has been successful for you all?
Rob
