KK266 won't boot!!! PLZ HELP!

After much frustration with looping restarts, I flashed the bios back to 4/26. What I got then was a single bios load, then the system would go into a loop looking at the CDROMs as the boot disk...can't figure out why!

Now the system will only POST once, run the bios once, and then gets into an endless loop hitting the CDROMs. The only way to get back to the bios is to shut it down hard, then restart it.

I need help since I like this new board better than my old Abit KT7 (which I reinstalled to get back online).

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

In the BIOS turn off the CDROMs as a bootdevice. I had that same problem with mine, would lockup whenever I booted because it was looking for the CDROMs. But when I moved them to secondary IDE channel, and moved my HD off of the RAID to the primary ide channel it works fine.
