This looks like a good water cooled case for someone(read: me) wating to get their feet wet in water cooling. The reviews have been good and I would like the review of the anandtech elite.

Note: I looked into DIY kits but it looks like a little much for me and I would prefer to stick with a prebuilt case solution

P.S: Since you have to supply your own water blocks with this case, I was wondering if any water block will work with this case?

Thanks.

this is going to sound a little harsh .But if you dont think you can handle a kit.
what makes you think you can handle a water block.:Q

It not that I can't handle it if necessary, its that I want everything inside a case for easier transport(not for LAN parties though)

Mobo: A8N-SLI Premium(if most probs with the deluxe version are fixed)/DFI SLI-DR

CPU: 3500+/Fx-55(depends on how much money I'll have available and if I want to spoil myself)

PS: PC P&C 510 SLI(seems a prerequisite for the rig i'm building and I won't take any chances)

This computer won't be built until July at the earliest, so it's hard to give you concrete specs

Hey Fuel Injected,

I have currently a Koolance 725b (basiaclly a LianLi v1000B case w/ exos 2 custom installed), and setup was a breeze. I have 3 waterblocks, one for cpu, and 2 for my 6800 ultras. I used the koolance waterblocks, and if ur going w/ some 3rd party waterblock, just make sure the tubing is the same size/fitment so no leaks and best performance. Generally u want to have all the lines teh same size. i went into WC'ing for 3 main reasons: 1. a lot quiter than my previous air setup and keeps my components extra cool even at load. 2. Something i watned to try for a long time. 3. looks super cool. well gl on your venture. the PC&P SLI is expensive and rather loud, if u plan on WC'ing everything (at elast w/ the koolance kits), one of the reasons should be to eliminate the louder air setup. i have an antec neopower, and i cannot hear it. I used to have antec truepower550 which is a great power supply, but rather loud. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks DCrew, I hope my luck is good too!

I've heard that the 510 SLI is loud but that doesn't concern me much(i'll just turn up my speakers and I turn off my computer at night so it won't disturb me then)

MostlyI'm doing this because I want to take my skills to the next level and for better OC'ing results

This is a mixed review at best. While the correct choice of blocks (gold plated or annodized AL) will get you good performance (700w), the fact that you can't use any of the great copper blocks without a very specialized coolant mixture is limiting.

For the price, and if you're satisfied with your current case, you can do a lot better in terms of performance with one of the better kits or a carefully selected DIY unit. Also, if you plan on moving your box regularly, you can tailor your water-cooler to make the process easier. Tactics like pre-molding your tubing, using as little tubing as possible and employing a T-line instead of a res would work just fine.
