No, you wont hurt it at all. That is what my cpu stays at now. Those low temps in prior posts are what this cpu ran on my KT7. I too was complaining about the high temps with this KR7A ( and the winbond HM ). With the case open, it actually drops to 50 C, but that still sucks in my book. 55 C is usually what I see after the 3dmark.
I just noticed that my network card's throughput has gone WAY wrong. I think that the memory timings may have something to do with this. Is there such thing as a "low latency", or "high perfomance" network card??? I thought that it was the bus, because on the KT7 this problem became more and more evident as the FSB speeds increased. So all I had to do then was lower the FSB to regain some of the NIC perfomance. At this point, I have lowered the current board's FSB to 133 and still, the problem persists. This is getting my @ss kicked in my online gaming. I have swapped from Realtek to Linksys, completely removing the drivers, and adapters when replacing, and still no good. Sandra is reporting that the cards latency is too high, "......might hog the bus too long." I am at a loss here.
HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPP ! ! ! ! !
