I want an opinion from you all about which KDS monitor to choose.
I originally purchased a KDS AV-195TF. It had problems and has been replaced a couple of time because the replacement units that KDS sent me died too. Well, the AV-195TF is discontinued and they want to send me a VS-21e or a XF-9e (they don't have any XF-9p). I really want to get a Rad-7 though, but I can't because they don't have that in stock anymore either. I'd be willing to wait for a Rad-7 but it doesn't seem like they want to give me one of those, although I'd be willing to pay the difference between the VS-21e and Rad-7.
The VS-21e seems to be their top-of-the-line monitor, but its really too big for my poor, college-student desk. On the other hand, the XF-9e costs like $200, which is no where near where the $350 the AV-195TF is still going for (and further from the $400 I paid in 2000).
I've read reviews of the VS-21e, but can't find much about the XF series.
So my question is, which monitor would you go for? Also, any input/experience/review/links would be most helpful.
Thanks for any input.
