hello all, i've got an abit KT7A-RAID and was wondering if i popped in oh...say an Athlon XP 2200+, would i have any problems? thanks! oh and if this answer is easily found...feel free to flame away and if you are so kind point me in the right direction
well i have the kt7a and i also was looking for the answer to this and everything i found for any via 133 board was that they maxed at the 1.4 original athlon. so to the best of my knowledge it will not support an xp proc. but if it can i'm ordering a 1600+ tonight

well i dont kno much about Abit boards but a via KT133 will not support a XP chip, because of its 100mhz fsb, as u can see on mine atm i can only OC it to 120 so i get a 1800+ out of a 2100+ (new mobo soon)
BUT if you have a KT133a then u can because that board supports 133 fsb
