Anyone know of some good Buffets in the LA/Orange County Area? Specifically Costa Mesa, Irvine or HB, etc..

If you like dim sum (I know it's not buffett, but close IMO) there's a good one in Cerritos. Great Seafood House is the name.

Sumo wasn't bad, cost $13 for lunch...Todai's a pretty good choice too, but more expensive if I recall...Hometown Buffet's also a good choice if you're not into Japanese food/seafood

BD's was good... but it's gone now =\

i would just say Todai or Sumo... if you want a sushi buffet, i know one in Newport, but it's only at nite, and you can only stay for about an hour at the sushi bar... don't know if it counts as a buffet?? it's called California Beaches, and it's always packed...

I really enjoy the non-buffet style restaurants around the OC/Disney Land area. Their breakfast specials are awesome.

if you like japanese, Kotos serves a great champagne brunch on sundays.
its more pricey--but nigiri and handrolls are not premade. same with the yakitori and tempura.

another vote for todai, which is absolutely not expensive if you have the crab legs and enough sashimi ;-)

Went to eat @ Onami's in West Covina Mall on Saturday. It was another Todai theme restaurant. The crab legs were a bit larger than Todai (Azuza/Puente Hills) but Onami's menu never seems to change (some say Todai's menu is slow to change, but at least they have Crepes). The lobster thing is getting kind of old by now. Where in the heck is Sumo's?

Anyone know of any Korean BBQ buffets around the same area?

I've been to Sumo; place is pretty good. It's like $23 a person a night though..
