There really isn't a chat that I know of, but there is a game update thread where a bunch of people post (myself included). As long as you're cool, people are pretty nice over there. i'm sorry, are you an idiot? Lakers split the series at Sacramento, which means they have accomplished what they needed to do. Lakers have already won the series. Don't get all excited like San Antonio did now. What you guys fail to realize is that the Lakers are a consistent team, they aren't streaky. They play pretty much the same day in and day out.

Sacramento, is a very streaky team. If you took a look at the first quarter, sacramento had to shoot a very high percentage just to keep up with the lakers. They can't pull off this type of performance again consistently. They played one hell of a game today, and deserved the win. Lakers lost mainly because of the poor production from everyone besides Shaq. Plus, did anyone notice a lack of calls, several times the players were dumbfounded because there was no whistle blown.

but hey, this is basketball and it's just a game. WTF really cares?

last nights game kinda reminded me of game 2 of the laker san antonio series. fouls 2 and 3 on shaq were total crap. lakers up 3 with shaq totallyl dominating (20 somthing points on what 11/15 shooting with 5 min left in second quarter) then when he goes out w/ 3 fouls the kings out score lakers by 5 to end the half. and with shaq being non aggressive because of foul trouble in the third period the kings were able to get a hefty lead entering the 4th. its no surprise the lakers mounted a late charge right about the same time shaq was able to be aggressive again. and you all should have notice the refs trying to make it up to the lakers by calling ticky tac fouls against the kings at the end (pollards "foul" on kobe and a pushing call on whoever was gaurding shaq on one of the last possesions). hello! shaq gets pushed in the back the whole damn game why start calling it in the 4th? how about calling it in the 1st and second quarter and send weber/divac to the bench?? but the refs always rebound after a bad game and i have no doubt the lakers will crush in game 3.

I saw Shaq's comments on ESPN ealier. What's he talking about? He had a bad call or two go against him but why does he have to be such a sore loser? Reminds me of Bryant's remarks after they lost a regular season game against Portland. The odds, no matter how much I wish otherwise, are that LA will win this series. When/If they do I bet every Kings player will have nothing but good things to say about the Lakers.

Kings blew their homecourt advantage in game one when the lakers won... Regular season win percentage is nothing now, you might as well have started a new season, this is the playoffs, seedings mean nothing other than the regular season win percentage. The Lakers may not be the team that they have been in previous years, but they do know what being in the playoffs is about and they know how to win while they are there, Phil Jackson doesn't have a playoff win record of 126-49 because he's a dumbass. How about we put a healthy foot on Shaq and we get food poisoning out of Kobe, we put a healthy Peja back out on the floor and Vlade doesn't flop... I think we'd still have a good matchup, but I don't think that the kings would win.

I'm with giguana, everyone had a crappy night except shaq and shaq had to tone it down because of two poor calls on offense that led him into foul trouble. The man is 300lbs. He's got a body to move, of course he's going to be hard to stop... flopping is wussing out as far as I'm concerned, Dikembe didn't wuss out in the finals last year... but then again... they lost in 5... a goal that is still achievable by the lakers against the kings.

well duh of course they will because the lakers are the better team and are never given the benefit of two totally nonexistant fouls that send the other teams best player to the bench in the first or second quarter.

im going to go out on a limb here: weber will never see 2 fouls in the first quarter or 3 in the first half (unless they are blantantly obvious) and he will never get a 2nd technical no matter how much of an ass he makes of himself
