Lamest State **CONFIRMED OFFICIAL POLL**

Kansas acctually isn't nearly as bad as Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, New Mexico, and Utah. For cities, Wichita and Kansas City offer about everything any other city does (without nearly as many assholes). For "pretty," You must have never been through the Flint Hills. Most beautiful part of I-70 this side of Colorado.

I voted for Oklahoma. Now THAT state is useless.

Oh thank god someone with some sense, I agree completely. I wouldn't go vote for a state on here as being the lamest unless I had not only been there, but had a good idea of what the state was all about. I think people need to realize just because they have heard things or seen things on TV about a certain state, doesn't tell you everything about that state. I see all these people voting for Cali on here, I don't live there, but that is really stupid!! What makes the state so lame, have these people ever seen norther California??? especially along the coast, it's beautiful. Well anyway I could go on forever but this whole post is just stupid as hell anyway.

Well, I think you people need to realize that we are talking about a POLL on and INTERNET FORUM. And not just any internet forum, but ANANDTECH'S OFF-TOPIC FORUM, home of the internet's massive collection of horny, know-nothing 12-year-olds.

Maybe we need a fvcking Congressional Hearing on the subject. Maybe a formal apology from the world's leaders and some reparations for those residents in the states with the most votes. Something like 12GB of bandwidth and an eDonkey client.

Blind hate and sterotypes is a great way to make choices. I was only aiming at those who vote for a state and go "I heard they suck dude like my brother's girlfriend's little cousin said they did"

I tossed in Iowa. Of course being from Nebraska I have my stereotyped opinions of the state. The max speed limit is 65mph, which is difficult to understand because you really want to get out of the state as fast as you can. Unfortunately, if you do you get a nice lovely Iowa speeding ticket, which just keeps you in the state longer. Now, for the absolute most drab portion of any state would have to be the 402 miles along I-80 in Wyoming. Ugh! Just the thought brings back horrible memories of traveling through to Washington State.

Typical post from someone who's never been to Iowa. I never understood why people think the state is flat. Sure there are lots of corn fields, but the part of Iowa I've lived my whole life in there are PLENTY of hills. Even more when you get the western or north eastern part of the state.
