Kind of cool I guess, but the extra weight of that motor is undoubtedly throwing the balance of the car way off, it probably nose dives like crazy now.

The Ls1 is only ~70lbs heavier (4g63 ~320, Ls1 ~390)...That will affect it, but probably not as much as people think...

OK, for some reason I had ~500lbs in my head.
I also thought it looked like they were only running the rears, wonder if the center diff can't handle the truth.

With a motor the size of a LS1, I doubt it would be mounted in a Transverse fashion. I'm pretty sure it would be mounted Longitudinally and thus use a different transmission.
Well now that I've watched the video, I'm sure its mounted Longitudinally which means that the AWD tranny and drivetrain was ripped out and probably replaced with a GM tranny, probably a Tremec/Borg-Warner T56(most likely?) or ZF S6-650 or maybe possibly a NVG 3500/4500 thousg the last 2 are mainly truck trannies.

What's with everyone thinking that the LSX is some huge and heavy motor? It's smaller and lighter than these DOHC V6's that they're sticking in everything now.
