Laptop USB1.1 ports

Just got a new HP ze4700 laptop with AMD-M 2800+ processor, intg. wireless G, and the basics (actually haven't gotten yet, still waiting on Tech Depot to ship it. Ordered 3/23 and still waiting for them to ship it.) :|:|:|

Unfortunately it only comes with two USB 1.1 ports built-in (only downfall of this laptop). My question is, if I buy a PCMCIA card that has 4 USB 2.0 ports, does this fix the USB 1.1 problem?

Well, it isn't really a problem. But, that will give you a couple of USB 2.0 ports in addition to your USB 1.1 ports. The 1.1 ports are very adequate for a mouse or other such devices.
