Laptop with Centrino and Mobility 9600

Hey guys, i just ordered a Dell 8600 with nvidias 5650 chip. JUST realized that it got blown out of the water by the mobility 9600. Which manufacturers make a Centrino laptop with the option of 9600. I heave searched through a few and could not find one. Im fairly new to the laptop market, so i really dont know where else to look. Thanks for the feedback.

i have just looked over their site. nothing comprabable in package and price to the dell. is there an easy and a practical way to change the video card in the laptop??

think it's a fairly new chip. maybe wait for a month or so

and btw i just checked seems like not many famous notebook company (toshiba, dell, IBM etc) use ATI's chips for some reason

maybe HP/compaq or alienware will put out something like that. i put my money on alienware that they will have a centrino/9600 laptop first tho

yeah, as soon as i read that review on anandtechs homepage where they compared the 9600 to 5650 mobile chips. i just got REALLY dissapointed with my dell order. it has not arrived yet. so im not sure what my next step is. i just dont undersatnd why nvidias 5650 chip lacks so much in performance. i alwasy thought nvidia know what they were doing, but i guess ATI has simply out done them.

I'm pretty sure the current Centrino chipset (855?) can't use DX9.0.

In AnandTech's review of the ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 and NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5650 the test machine uses the 855PM chipset.
