laptops with 16:10 screens?

I'm outta the laptop buying loop, but just got a tax rebate that is likely to become a new gaming laptop in the next few months. As such I am starting to read reviews and check manufacturers websites and creating a checklist for things I want such as SSD, matt screen, number pad on keyboard, nvidia 765M+ etc (the usual stuff).

I don't mind sacrificing a little resolution (everything is flexible at the moment) if I have to in order to get smoother gameplay at higher game settings but it seems like laptops now either have 1366:768 or 1920:1080 with very little in between (the occasional 1600:900).

What has happened to taller screens or am I just looking in the wrong places?

16 x 10 in a new gaming laptop does not exist AFA I know. I have been following this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/har...ack-16-10-thread-part-2-a-31.html#post9425104 and the post by ajkula sums it up (2 NON gaming machines)
Are you willing to consider used machines?
