It takes months of healing? You got lasik or PRK lasik?

The night time halo effect they say can last for months. In the first week you take 3 eye drops 4 times a day. An anti-inflammatory, an anti-biotic, and a rewetting drop. After a week you only have to do the rewetting drops. Your vision gradually gets better in the first week or so. Other than the halo effect you're healed pretty fast. The flap never perfectly heals apparantly so for a while it can dry out and become somewhat opaque. I may have to get mine redone though because while most people end up with 20/20 or better, I ended up with 20/30 or so, and I have real trouble reading sometimes in poor lighting or from even just a slight distance away.

I got regular Lasik, not PRK.

One eye see great close and one far away.. lol
Anyway.... they eventually sync up.

Congrats on the procedure. Most people are pretty happy with it.
