is there a way to make an application that runs inside of an explorer window execute in full screen?

Basically the users all log on using a password dialogue, then the application loads inside IE but it will only load standard size. Is there a way to make the IE window launch in full screen automatically?

I tried the microsoft site but after wasting time dredging through all the stuff over there i had no luck finding an answer.

thanks

Try Autosizer

AutoSizer automatically resizes any window you specify. For instance, some web browsers open up in a non-maximized window. Using AutoSizer, you can set those windows to automatically maximize every time they?re opened. It works with almost any program, including web browsers, Notepad, etc. AutoSizer stays running in the system tray (next to the time), so it stays out of your way while it works.

Have you tried stretching the window instead of hitting Maximize?
Stretch the window to full screen by dragging the corners. Then close and see if it opens full screen next time.

I can personally get the window full screen, and when i close it, next time it open its in full screen, even after reboot. The problem is, when theres 20 odd workstations with users that think they've broken something when anything looks different to what they expect, they look for someone to fix the problem. Im looking for a way to have IE launch in full screen every time, even if it was resized smaller the last time it was open. Can this be done? I thought there might be a way to alter the way IE loads? Maybe some tinkering behind the scenes, but maybe thats a little overambitious with a microsoft product. We have IE v.6, and theres no option in Tools> Internet Options> Advanced that lets you specify for the browser to launch in full screen mode, unless Ive completely overlooked it or its located elsewhere?

There may be another way.. but autosizer makes it a heck of a lot easier. It's an annoying problem that has been in IE for a while that was never really fixed. Even if you do get it to open full screen when you first open it.. more then likely some of the new window popups won't open in a full screen etc.
