What's with all the Brock hate? Just because he was in the WWE? If someone paid you 6 or 7 figure salary to play make believe you'd do it too. He is a legit champ and a freaky athlete. He is a fucking beast and I don't see him losing anytime soon. At least to anyone not named Fedor.

I think the hate comes because a lot of people seem to look at Brock Lesnar as a Tim Sylvia type, at least that's how I take it.

I know its an old post. but I guess Carwin won't mind the bigger check he'll get because he's fighting Brock and the number of people watching hoping to see Brock loses.

I'm sure Brock will use that post if he doesn't have enough motivation already to train harder. the whole WWE thing is just old and stupid. I suspect whenever he hears that thrown his way he wants to pound his opponent even worst to get people to drop that non sense.

It be nice to see two NCAA wrestling champs going at it. granted its Div I vs. II. I have no idea though if there is a huge talent gap between them in wrestling.

seeing as frank mir was talking a ton of trash before the fight, it's not surprising that Lesnar trashed him on TV after a dominating performance

I tell you i think anyone is going to have a hard time knocking lestner off but i sure in the hell hope Carwin does. Lestner is a disrespectful piece of crap. I don't like any fighter who acts like this. Some of my favorite fighters even though they aren't the best (but very good) like Rich Franklin. GO CARWIN!!!!

I'm disappointed Cain vs Carwin didn't happen for the number one contender. It'd be a shame if Brock barrels through Carwin and Cain destroys his opponent...just shows they should have had a match to duke it out. Hell, even move it up a PPV.

Carwin is only about 6'0" - 6'1" despite him being listed as 6'3". So he'll have the height advantage, not sure about the sheer mass, but I'd give that to Lesnar as well.

You couldn't pay me enough to wrestle in the WWE. But not because I have anything against it, I went to a wrestling school out here about 12 years ago with the dreams of being in the WWF. I walked out before the first day was over, and in a world of pain. You have to be tough as shit to be a wrestler. I couldn't imagine being in the WWE and wrestling 200+ matches a year.

Brock beats Shane, the only advantage Shane MIGHT have is his punching power, but you can't really measure that. Brock's bigger, younger, faster and has fought far better competition at this point. It might be closer than Brock Vs Mir II, but I don't see Shane winning.

Brock had class after after fighting Randy, and outside of mocking Heath, did nothing to the fans that fight. And honestly Heath deserved it because he talked nothing but shit about how Brock didn't deserve to fight him. Leading up to the Mir rematch, Mir took shit talking to a new level. Brock beat his ass and the crowd was booing him. I don't blame him for what he did. Going into that fight a majority of the people there were already ready to boo him no matter what he did, It was a lose/lose for Lesnar.

He was on the ground beating Mirs ass and the crowd is chanting "stand them up! stand them up!" and he's close to KO'ing Mir. Meanwhile these same turd burgers were cheering every time GSP scored a take down, and wasn't a fraction as active on the ground as Brock was.

You would think Brock bit someone's ears off, the way he inspires such a strong negative emotional response from many MMA fans. Actually, I should have thought of something even worse, Tyson did it, and is more popular.
