I've been reading reviews about this chassis on some sites, they all agree that it is a very good chassis, and I like it so ive been thinking about buying it. There is one thing neither of the review ive read cares to mention, which is whether or not the vibrations from the harddrives are "killed" with the rubber rings you use to mount them with. Everything looks very good with it, just this one thing that is concerning me.

Anyone who have bought this chassis? I would appreciate your input.

Thanks in advance

Largely depends on the hard drive itself, but unless you use a very quiet 5400 RPM model, you'll likely still notice virbations. But then there is no case that I'm aware of that offers truly good vibration-killing mounting. If you want to do it properly, remove the HD bay and mount your drives like this instead:

I'll never mount a normal HD any other way again

Hey, that's exactly how HDDs mount in the Antec Solo case. Seriously, it comes with three sets of bungee mounts for completely vibration-free HDD mounting. The drawback is that the case will be unable to accept long video cards. I had to stop using mine when I bought a BFG GTX 260 video card because it (and all other GTX 260) was too long to fit in the Solo.

For grommets, IMO Antec has the best. They currently use these really thick and soft translucent white silicone ones. They're seriously squishy like... well... use your imagination.

After that, the next best grommets are the blue ones that you can buy (like in Nexus kits) and the black ones that Lian Li uses. Yes, these will cut vibrations. No, not 100%. 100% is the Antec Solo (or your own homebrew) suspension mounting. Antec white grommets are maybe 80%. The blue grommets or Lian Li black grommets are maybe 40%.
