That would be hillarious if some of these Bushies ended up in prison, got gangraped, and ended up dying of AIDS. Imagine Carl Rove dying of AIDS after a guy named Big Gay Al got him.

Nah, it won't happen. They'll end up in posh country club prisons. Then again, they probably won't get convicted of anything at all and even if they do, they'll probably just end up paying fines or being put on probation or house arrest.

Yeah that is just a hilarious vision. A guy getting gang raped, getting aids, and dying from it.

Some of you people need help, I suggest sedatives and a few therapists. The idea anybody would even come up with a vision of that much less find it hilarious is scary on many levels.
It's just as funny as destroying someone's entire life's career to get even with her husband...

Worse than that, they blew the cover of a huge CIA front company (Brewster Jennings) and exposed every covert agent and foreign informant ever associated with that company. It's not just the identity of one agent. We're talking about hundreds of people and years of work in investigating WMD proliferation. Think of Nicole Kidman's character in The Peacemaker.

They are seeking a witch hunt.

They've got nothing on Rove, that's pretty obvious.
Your typical brilliant analysis. Rove was informed that he is still under investigation. There are lots of possible reasons for this.

1. Fitzpatrick may need more info to confirm any pending charges.

2. He may also be waiting to see if Libby has any useful info against Rove if he tries to negotiate a deal.

3. He may not want to release other info about other possible targets of the investigation that would become public when Rove is indicted.

Until Fitzpatrick speaks, it's all just speculation, but the least likely situation is that Fitzpatrick has "nothing on Rove."

That would mean he would have to resign as soon as he fired the others.
Sadly, this will probably never happen.
That's why I'm hoping Fitzpatrick has enough evidence to help him make the decision.

I thought Bush was elected to clean house? What happened to that honor and dignity thing in the White House?

I'd say this is far, far worse than Clinton getting blow jobs in the Oval Office. The outting of the CIA agent put a couple people's lives in danger, damaged our national security, and counts as treason in my book. Perhaps Bush and his gang should be sent to the gallows. Nah--I'd rather see them branded as traitors, their assets seized, and have them locked down in a maximum security prison for a life sentence. Now that would be funny. Of course, for the worst president in the history of the nation, the president who gleefully oversaw the beginning of the transformation of the nation into a third world country, even that punishment might not be enough.

Wow, that is some hatred!

But I can join you on that: We all know Clinton sold military technology to China in exchange for campaign contributions. I'll let you have the treason charge on Bush if you let me have the treason charge on Clinton (and his wife). I would love to see them both put before a firing squad. Sound like a good deal to you?

It's amazing though, for all that has gone wrong with this administration I actually blame Bush the least. It really seems as if he is in way over his head, I don't think he ever envisioned his presidency being like this. He's a decent man, I just don't think he was ever qualified to be president of the United States.

Mr. Tough Guy -- "Fitzie" -- proves to be just another in a long line of Bush administration lackies.

This is why America is in the fvcked up state it's in. Rove will skate because his attorneys met all week with the prosecutor and "helped" him determine that Rove did nothing wrong.

Bullsh!t.

Lackies will be lackies, Rove will continue to conduct what has laughingly become politics as usual in America, and America will continue to reap what Bush sews.

You people are going to wind up with exactly what you deserve but it really doesn't matter because you'll never even WTFU and realize it.

Pleasant dreams.

Ah, but that's what this whole thing has been. From the sounds of it, there aren't any indictments about this so-called "leak", but rather a perjury charge. So what it means in the end is that all this whining from the hardcore left over this has proved to be nothing.

I wonder how some people are going to be able to handle the news that there wasn't anything to the so-called "leak" BS..

hmmmmnmm...lying to a grand jury, obstruciton of justice and perjury. It's not like his wife is going to divorce him. It looks like a cover up to me.

It is only an indictment. Guilt has yet to be established and proven, except in the minds of those who are out to "get" the Bush Administration.

You can claim it sounds like a cover-up if you wish but you and everyone else has yet to prove there was a crime to cover-up. So far there have been no indictments about criminal activity regarding the actual so-called leak.

So again, it'll be interesting to see how the fringe left handles not "getting" their man Rove or having a real indictment over the so-called "leak". So far all I've seen is you people try to claim this indictment of Libby is proof - which anyone with an ounce of rationality knows hasn't been established and is only speculation and hoping on your part.

Different day obviously. When he was going to bring in the evil Rove on charges of leaking an undercover spy to the press he was unassailable. Now that Libby is indicted on something far less severe he is an obvious lacky

Anyway. So things didn't turn out the way you wanted and you are throwing a fit. Big shock there.

With all due respect to BBond, I don't think he represents Liberals or the Left in any way, shape, or form. Nobody here, besides him, has said anything negative about Fitzgerald.

Sure he does. The fringe left. Much like Pat Robertson represents the fringe right.

No idea, it is too far off. I think she is qualified but too much can happen in 3 years.
I can gurantee you one thing, if a choice is 4 years of Hillarys whining or Condi came up. The GOP will gladly go with Condi.

I haven't seen Condi as a "leader" in any way thus far. She seems to be merely a mouthpiece for the Bush administration's agenda.

Condi will not run.

she has stated numerous times, leaving no room for error, that she will absolutely not run for any national office.

and I'm still waiting for someone to give me an example of a politician who said "I absolutely will not run" a dozen times but then went on to do so anyways

That is fine as you will vote for Hillary either way. Rice has been around the world more than a few times and brokered deals with N.Korea and Isreal\Pally.

I would say so far into the first year of service she has accomplished quite a bit. Far more than people give her credit for, and honestly more than either of her last couple of predecessors through 2 administrations..
