As you said, most corporations want a 4 year degree.
Sure working for someone is great, I guess.
Degree is great, but has a LOT less significance in this industry.
In that 4 years of school, which you are most likely not learning the most current material( and most of the time grossly outdated). So for 4 years you learn old stuff, only to come out 4 years later already behind the major technology 8 years from the start.
Thats a extreme way to look at it, but thats what I think it comes down to.
I see that LadyNinaine, mabey your location in missouri is hurting your husbands ability to get better wages.
In the industry I know, if you show your experience in a resume, present well at the interview and truly school if they ask you to show them. I dont think a degree has a bit difference.
Now say your head to head(completely equal) with another person for a job, and they have a degree, then, you will lose out there.
Go out, learn more then everyone else, and show them that YOU are better then everyone else. Simple, be or be killed in the technology industry.
You dilly dally, you get snipped.
